To edit an image in Fireworks from within Dreamweaver, click to select the image and then click the Fireworks icon (the yellow circle labeled FW in the Properties inspector) to open the image in Fireworks. Edit the image in Fireworks and when you save it, your changes are reflected in Dreamweaver.
